AN O'BRIEN'S OPTICIANS UPDATE ON COVID-19

In light of the Government's announcement on Monday 23rd March 2020 and in light of the most recent public health control measures including continuing concerns about staff safety, we are making a number of immediate changes to the delivery and operation of our optometry services.

The following changes to the provision of services will take immediate effect:

All routine optical services are suspended from Wednesday 25th March at 5:30pm for an initial period of 3 weeks. Therefore please do not travel to our practice without prior agreement.

We will continue to provide essential eye care and support our patients where, in Dr. Janjua’s professional judgement a delay in an examination may be detrimental. This may include where patients have broken or lost their glasses or contact lenses and need a replacement pair to function. Where possible, remote consultations will be made available to triage symptoms and prevent the need for you to attend the practice in person. If any of these circumstances arise, please call our on-call Dispensing Optician, Chris on 07857 054 409 or email us on enquiries@obriensopticians.co.uk and either Chris or Dr. Janjua himself will call you back.

You can follow us on our social media channels where we will keep you updated with regards to when we will be back to normal practice operations.

Thank you for your continued support during these difficult times, we wish you and your families’ good health.

Take care and stay safe.
